John is the Program Director and Treasurer for the Dr. M. Louise Miller – Dr. Paul E. Knox Scholarship Fund, and Co-Founder with John Michniewicz for the very successful annual Pipe Screams Halloween Concert that benefits the chapter M. Louise Miller – Paul E Knox Scholarship fund. John is also a former Board Trustee for the Greater Bridgeport Symphony and the Founding President of the Norma Pfriem Urban Outreach Initiatives (now nOURish Bridgeport). John was also formerly the Director of Technology and Communications for the national American Guild of Organist organization leading the implementation of its ONCARD membership management system 300+ USA chapters (2010). Like many engineers, John made the connection between math and music and has studied piano and organ with several teachers in the Greater New York City area along with being a life-long choir member. 

Although John has now moved to Greenville, SC, he remains the chapter’s webmaster in addition to his role as Program Director and Treasurer for the scholarship with its nationwide reach. John is also Treasurer for the Greenville, SC AGO Chapter and its (Bob & Nancy) Powell Scholarship fund modeled after the Miller-Knox fund, and Secretary of the Spartanburg, SC AGO Chapter.

John is Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Boston-based, Top Flight Technologies, Inc and has a long career as Global Business Executive and Sr. Information Technologist in the high technology industry specializing in new company launches, mergers and acquisitions.
