Organ Crawl – Historic Organs of Bridgeport
Join fellow members and chapter friends as organ crawl host Paul Thoma leads the group to unique pipe organ installations within close proximity in Bridgeport. Bring your organ shoes and try one or more of these organs yourself.
Revitalizing Song for the 21st Century
Changing times require innovation in music performance, using the organ/piano in new ways, adding other instruments, use of electronics, visual aids, learning ways to get volunteers involved. A hot topic for sure. Clinician TBD.
Annual Dinner and program “Building a Stress Toolkit”
Who doesn't have stress in their job and can't use a few more tools to help. All members and clergy are welcome to the dinner and program that will be both educational and humorous. We welcome Orna Rawals, licensed marriage and family therapist and playwright. Our host is Dottie Cameron at Christ Church Episcopal, Stratford.
Celebration of Life – Bob Tellalian
The musical resources of the Greater Bridgeport Symphony, the Mendelssohn Choir, the Connecticut Chamber Choir, the Greater Bridgeport American Guild of Organist and the United Congregational Church Chancel Choir coming together to salute the life of a fellow singer and sponsor of great music performance.
