Paul Knox Salute, Sunday, June 6, 2011, 4:00 PM, First Church Congregational, Fairfield

If you were not one of the 250 individuals at this concert, or one of the 90+ AGO members and Paul Knox’s friends that joined us for the dinner after, hopefully these photos of the event, along with the YouTube videos give you a glimpse of how special an afternoon and evening it was for attendees, members and guests. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, and those that came from far away like surprise former chapter AGO members Pat Winsauer (now in Texas), Bryan Kirk (now in Glens Falls, NY), and Mark Kasmin (upstate CT).

Kudos to fine performances by Stephen Roberts, Galen Tate, Dr. Joe Utterback, Mike Lantowski, Jeffrey Wood, and David Harris. With the help of Baritone Thomas Woodman, we also added a surprise Paul Knox favorite piece, The Lost Chord, that was not on the program. Our performers utilized the new Klais pipe organ and Steinway piano well with a wide variety of music including singing.

Enjoy!
